Membership

Dear WHS Parents, Students and Staff,

Welcome to WHS! Our names are Jennifer Krause and Cathy Haney and we are honored to be your PTSA Co-Presidents for the 2011-12 school year. PTSA supports many programs, including ASB, Academic Teams, Counseling, Health and Safety, School Health Clerk,
Scholarships, Science Programs, Teacher Mini Grants, Teacher/Staff Appreciation, Grad Night, Career Lunches, Technology Initiatives and much more.

We would like to encourage you to:

Join the PTSA – membership is available to parents, students and teachers.

  • Make a donation to PTSA. We’ve made it even easier this year for you – you can donate using cash, check or credit card.
  • Sign up to volunteer – we need you!
  • Attend our monthly meetings – 3rd Thursday of every month at 9am, please join us.

Budget constraints will continue to have a severe impact on all Irvine schools, including our beloved Woodbridge. PTSA will be an integral part in filling the financial void left by the budget crisis and your help is crucial to the on-going success of all our programs. Please consider making a donation to PTSA and/or supporting programs, such as the Ralphs card, Office Depot or Target where you can make a difference just by shopping where you already shop.

It is important that you take a moment to fill out the membership and volunteer forms that you can find on this website under the Forms section and print, complete and send these forms to school with your PTSA donation when your student registers or as soon as you can once school begins. E-mail is the only form of communication we use, if you want to be informed, we urge you include your e-mail address.

This is a great time at Woodbridge - our recent modernization will be completed including our new pool! Work is also underway for a home stadium for Woodbridge and University High Schools. This, coupled with a new sense of school spirit and pride, will move our kids into the Way of the Warrior for 2011-12 and beyond. Please partner with the PTSA to make these visions a reality.

We look forward to meeting all of you and hope you will contact us directly with any questions, ideas or concerns.

Yours in Warrior Spirit,
Jennifer Krause Cathy Haney
